Diving in Amed Area
Experience the charm of Bali’s eastern coastline, where crystal-clear waters and thriving coral reefs await. Dive along Amed’s colorful walls, explore its unique artificial reefs, and encounter turtles, cuttlefish, and countless reef fish. With Pilgrim Divers, discover the relaxed and scenic underwater world that makes Amed a diver’s favorite!
Amed Wall
Depth: 5–30 meters
A short jukung(traditional outrigger boat) ride from shore brings you to Amed Wall — a stunning dive site where a vibrant coral-covered drop-off awaits. Glide alongside relaxed turtles, explore schools of colorful reef fish, and keep an eye out for graceful cuttlefish and curious squid drifting through the blue.
The Pyramids
Depth: 5–25 meters
The Pyramids is an impressive artificial reef made up of submerged concrete structures that now thrive with life. Among its highlights are turtles, blue-spotted stingrays, and a sprawling garden eel field. For macro lovers, this site offers delightful surprises like pygmy seahorses, frogfish, leaf scorpionfish, and nudibranchs — making it one of Amed’s most diverse and photogenic dives.
Japanese Shipwreck
Depth: 5–30 meters
Just a short drive from Amed, this small Japanese steel freighter — sunk during World War II — rests peacefully in shallow waters. Now adorned with soft corals and vibrant gorgonian fans, the wreck offers a mesmerizing mix of history and marine life. The surrounding reef and wall make this site a must-dive for both wreck enthusiasts and underwater photographers.
